Comprehensive underwater structural inspection of port infrastructure including pilings, fender systems, and submerged concrete elements. Delivered detailed condition reports and remediation recommendations.
Above water bridge repairs including crack injections and spall repairs. The team demolished deteriorated concrete, installed new reinforcing steel, formed and repoured bridge pilecaps and abutment walls.
Restored topographic complexity of the reef and stabilized the rubble areas within the ship grounding impact site. The stabilization of unconsolidated rubble prevented further physical damage at the site and provided suitable habitat for the biological process of natural recovery
Callaway Marine Technologies was contracted to perform a first of a kind coral habitat relocation. Coral mounds were relocated from a dredging footprint. The mounds were cut, using a modified diamond wire saw, and transported over a mile and placed at an approved relocation site.
